The rapid outburst of anti-Semitism that began on college campuses and is now spilling into the streets and the gates of the White House has surprised some older leftists who thought their party was the party of tolerance.
For a long time, the media taught the world that progressives stood for tolerance, rationality, and the best of American values, while conservatives were bigots and Nazis.
Bill Maher, a big-time leftist, expressed amazement and confusion about his own party’s behavior on his HBO show “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday.
“I must admit — I don’t think of myself as a naive person and I’ve been surprised,” Maher said. “It was like a volcano that blew — I mean just that people in the United States that are ‘F*** Israel!’ you know, ‘Any means necessary!’” he said.
“I don’t know where this comes from,” Maher said, “I guess it’s ancient, obviously, the hatred of the Jews goes way back… but… I was taken aback by this.”
“Why this one place?” As the conversation of Jewish persecution continued, Maher asked incredulously, “Why does this arouse… especially among young people?” He added, “I mean, young people hated Trump because he wouldn’t condemn the people with the tiki torches. Talking about Jews…”

“You’re the one with the tiki torches now!” Maher said.

One of the most serious allegations leveled at former President Trump stems from a fabricated quotation that has been discredited numerous times.
Donald Trump pointed out that there were three sides of people there: people against the Robert E Lee statue being taken down and the renaming of the historical park, people for the events taking place, and the neo-nazis and white-nationalists combined.
When Trump said there were very fine people on both sides, he was talking about the first two groups. Trump went on to say, “And I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, who should be condemned totally.” CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the fake news edited that part out and so now leftist dumbbells like Bill Maher continue to make the stupid comment that Trump didn’t condemn the hate groups.

There are no fringe radical crazies on the right who have the voice of any prominent Republicans. In fact, the fake news loves to claim the so-called Alt-Right are Republican neo-Nazis. But there are no Republican or conservative neo-Nazis. Neo-Nazis and white nationalists are almost exclusively left-wing socialists. Alt-Right was originally created by groups of conservatives who broke away from the establishment RINOs in the party, but then hate groups like neo-Nazis and white nationalists began using the same term for themselves. From the moment that was learned, conservatives stopped referring to themselves as alt-right because those hate groups and conservatives have absolutely nothing in common. The fake news knows this, but they think their viewers are stupid, and so they keep accusing conservatives of being neo-Nazis.
