Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker has signed legislation allowing foreign nationals with work permits, including some illegal aliens, to work as police officers in the sanctuary state.
Democrats with a supermajority in the Illinois House and Senate passed legislation in June that allows thousands of illegal aliens enrolled in the 100% unconstitutional Obama program called the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, as well as thousands of other foreign nationals with federal work permits, to work in law enforcement.
When Obama created the DACA program, he did so with no power whatsoever behind it. Executive orders are available for a president to “execute” a power given to him by the Constitution or constitutionally by Congress. Congress never created a law for DACA, and Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, gives Congress the sole authority over immigration laws. Therefore, DACA was always 100 percent illegal.
Every president in history has had the authority to remove a former president’s executive orders, except President Donald Trump. Trump knew that DACA was illegal and he attempted to rescind the executive order and tell Congress that they have to pass a law instead. A crooked federal judge told Trump that he could not end the DACA program, which I believe was a violation of the Separation of Powers.
Here is what it says in Illinois House Bill 3751:
Provides that an individual who is not a citizen but is legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law is authorized to apply for the position of police officer, subject to all requirements and limitations, other than citizenship, to which other applicants are subject.”

Pritzker signed the proposal into law late last week around 5 PM Friday, and it goes into effect immediately.
Another Democrat lunatic, Governor Gavin Newsom of California, also a sanctuary state, has made it feasible for illegal aliens to work as police officers at the municipal, county, and state levels.

The law, which was enacted earlier this year, requires police officers to hold a federal work permit. Work permits are often issued to border crossers and illegal aliens allowed into the United States after crossing the southern border, particularly under President Joe Biden’s utterly lawless administration.
I wonder how this is going to work because, under federal law, illegal aliens can NOT possess a Firearm or Ammunition. 18 USC Section 922(g)(5)(a).
Democrats will argue that this is necessary because there are such shortages of police in their jurisdictions. There are shortages in their jurisdictions because they made the job impossible for cops. Blue cities have shortages of cops because they defunded their police and on top of that, they made their lives miserable by creating rules that make it nearly impossible to defend themselves without fear of being prosecuted by the city.
So the Democrat solution is to replace the shortages of police with people whose first act on our soil was to break the law.
