James Carville Slams ‘Wokeness’ For Major Losses In Tuesday’s Election [VIDEO]

Longtime Democratic Party strategist James Carville laid blame to “stupid wokeness” for the wave losses the Democratic Party suffered in Tuesday’s elections across the country.

During an interview on “PBS Newshour,” broadcast journalist Judy Woodruff asked Carville what he thought went wrong for the Democrats.

“What went wrong is just stupid wokeness. Alright, don’t just look at Virginia and New Jersey. Look at Long Island, look at Buffalo, look at Minneapolis, even look at Seattle, Washington. I mean, this defund the police lunacy, this take Abraham Lincoln’s name off of schools. I mean that … people see that,” Carville said flatly.

“It’s just really … has a suppressive effect all across the country on the Democrats. Some of these people need to go to a ‘woke detox center’ or something,” he said. “They’re expressing a language that people just don’t use, and there’s backlash and a frustration at that.”

Carville knows what he’s talking about. Sure, he’s a real political snake in the grass, but he’s not stupid and he’s been around for a long time. He can feel the pulse of the American people and unlike others in his party who see it as well, Carville doesn’t ignore it.

The Democrat strategist continued by pointing out that Republican Glenn Youngkin, who won the governor’s race in Virginia on Tuesday, never aired political ads against President Joe Biden, instead he let the Democrats implode on their own.

“We got to change this and not be about changing dictionaries and change laws,” Carville added. “These faculty lounge people that sit around mulling about, I don’t know what. They’re not working.”

I think what’s he’s delicately trying to say is the whole woke thing is incredibly moronic and average American voters hate it. Woke ideology sets out to change America into a Marxist state with a compliant society and that doesn’t work for the overwhelming majority of Americans. Carville is admitting that the progressives in his party are a pain in the rear and the party is stuck with them.

Carville hit the nail right on the head saying that the extremism coming from woke politicians is being responded to by American voters by voting them out of office. It sounds like Carville is admitting that the party accepted the woke progressives up to this point because it helped their numbers to have a D in seats instead of an R. But now they are pushing the rest of the party to implement their whacked out ideas that are harming more moderate Democrats. He points to what happened up in Seattle with the woke progressives in 2020.

Carville pointed out that the extremist demonstrations in Seattle, including the creation of an anti-police ‘autonomous zone,’ had led to the election of a Republican in the Office of the Seattle City Attorney.

“Autonomous zone? Who could even think of something that stupid?!” he asked. Lunatics, that’s who. Maybe Carville should have spoken up a lot sooner.

The Ragin Cajun has always acted as a voice of reason for his party whenever it strayed so far to the left that they start losing their voter base. When your party goes to the left of Vladimir Lenin, you’ve got a serious problem.

“And I got news for you, you’re hurting the party, you’re hurting the very people you’re trying to help!” Carville concluded.
