In his fial days before leaving office Joe Biden has commuted the sentences of murderers and child rapists and now he is giving radical Muslim extremists their freedom. The New York Times reported Monday that the Biden regime has decided to release 11 dangerous Islamist Yemeni terrorists fromGitmo and sending them to Oman, where they will be free men. Oman says they will keep an eye on them, but if you believe that I have a really great bridge for sale.
NPR states that all 11 were captured after 9/11. Four terrorists were previously released by Barack Obama, another enemy of this country.
The results have been deadly. At a March hearing, the administration’s special envoys for Guantanamo Bay closure admitted for the first time that as many as 12 former Gitmo detainees have returned to the terrorist battlefield and killed Americans. The list of countries to which they had been released is classified.
In July the State Department named a former detainee a “specially designated global terrorist” after reports of his involvement in the June terror attack at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport. He had been released to Russia.
According to the office of the director of National Intelligence, nearly one-third of the detainees freed from Gitmo—208 of the 693 detainees who were released under Presidents Bush or Obama—are confirmed or suspected of returning to terrorism.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELConsider Tariq Al-Sawah, released to Bosnia in January. Al-Sawah literally wrote the book on bomb-making for al Qaeda. He reportedly was an associate of Osama bin Laden who had knowledge of the 9/11 attacks in the U.S.
Here are the names of the 11 set to be freed:
• Uthman Abdul al-Rahim
• Muhammed Uthman
• Moath Hamza Ahmed al-Alwi
• Zuhail Abdo Anam Said al-Sharabi
• Hani Saleh Rashid Abdullah
• Omar Mohammed Ali al-Rammah (alternative name: Zakaria Al-Baidany)
• Tawfiq Nasir Ahmed al-Bihani
• Sanad Yislam al-Kazimi
• Hassan Mohammed Ali Bin Attash
• Abdu Ali al-Hajj Sharqawi
• Abdulsalam al-Hela (alternative name: Abd al-Salam al-Hilah)
Every single one of the Yemeni terrorists released Monday were members of Al-Qaeda before being captured by America. Prior to arriving at Gitmo between 2002 and 2004, many were held at secret overseas CIA prisons known as black sites.
However, the Biden regime believes they no longer pose enough of a threat to justify their continued imprisonment. This will likely prove a fatal error.
Under Obama, at least 20 of the Gitmo terrorists he freed returned to to the battlefield to terrorize America. To make things worse, former Obama administration officials admitted to the Washington Post (WaPo) that at least 12 terrorists released from the Cuban prison killed at least six Americans.
This reality, though, did not stop Obama from freeing more terrorists right before leaving office.
The George W. Bush Administration is also guilty of returning Gitmo terrorists to the battlefield as well. Over his eight years as President, Bush ended up transferring a total of 540 from the prison.
Trump has long pledged to keep Guantanamo Bay open and “load it up with some bad dudes.” However, the damage to American national security may already have been done by then.
