On Tuesday, at least 16 people were shot in Democrat Mayor Eric Adams’s New York City even in the face of new gun control laws that include gun-free zones throughout the city. It’s like I always say, gun control laws only affect law-abiding gun owners and not criminals. That’s because criminals do not obey the law. That’s pretty much why we call them criminals in the first place.
According to the New York Post, the shootings happened during a 16-hour period that ended Wednesday around 7:30 AM after the last victim was shot and wounded.
Maybe New York criminals are competing with Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago for most shootings?
That final gunshot victim was a 42-year-old man who was simply standing around on Tiebout Ave in Fordham Heights. Suddenly, he was slashed in the face and shot in the back by 2 gunmen, who fled the scene on a scooter. The man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, and it was reported that his injuries were non-life-threatening. Police have not yet established a motive for the attack.
Some of the shootings took place early Wednesday morning between 2:20 AM and 6:45 AM.
Four men, ages 24 – 28, were shot and wounded in Harlem at about 11:45 PM Tuesday only hours after 4 were shot in Queens, according to ABC7.

This gun violence came about a month after Democrats Governor Kathy Hochul (not elected) revealed in the face of a US Supreme Court ruling that overturned a New York gun control law that restricted concealed carry laws, a new series of gun-free zones around the city. In essence, the governor listed all the places that law-abiding citizens were not allowed to defend themselves as the criminals are able to carry as many weapons as they want. That’s the very nature of gun-free zones.
Gun-free school zones are another invention of the Democrats that are mainly the reason why mass school shootings are able to be carried out. If a gunman wants to be able to shoot as many people as possible, knowing there will be no responsible adult around to shoot back at him to defend the school students, they just go to a gun-free shool zone and shoot away.

Hochul claims to be an attorney, but I guess she fell asleep during the Constitution and the Bill of Rights law school classes because she issued an insane statement after she signed the new gun control measures back in July:

Today, we are taking swift and bold action to protect New Yorkers. These shootings are on Hochul and the Democrats who passed her harmful legislation, and on past administrations that defunded police.
Ask yourself why it is that every major Democrat-run blue city in America has major gun violence. It’s because overall, liberals approach every problem the same way. They identify a problem, then come up with a so-called “solution” that is usually ideologically driven and not based on common sense. Then they propose legislation that usually targets the guns and not the criminals who abuse the guns for nefarious purposes. Then, they move on to the next problem without ever following up on how their ideological decisions have played out. And when someone else points out how their programs and policies have caused harm, the liberals claim that things would have been worse had they done nothing at all. That’s the cycle of Democrat policymaking and it should give you reason enough to vote Republican.
