Drone footage and a wiretapped phone call between two Hamas militants are supposed to “prove” that a misfired Islamic Jihad rocket caused the tragic Gaza hospital explosion.
Israel presented its proof after adamantly claiming responsibility for the Al-Ahli Hospital explosion, which reportedly killed more than 500 people.
Instead, Israel claims the tragic explosion was caused by a failed rocket fire by Palestinian terrorists.
The IDF released an audio transcript of Hamas militants discussing the Islamic Jihad missile attack on a hospital in Gaza the night before on Wednesday morning.
The Hamas militants admit on the tape that the missile’s shrapnel “are local pieces, and not Israeli shrapnel.”
The audio transcript is available in the X post below:

Here is the transcript converted into English:
What?
They are saying this was Islamic Jihad.
That this was from us?
It seems that it was from us, yes.
Who is saying this?
They are saying that the shrapnel of the missile are local pieces and not Israeli shrapnel.
What are they saying [there]?
My god, from us, it didn’t just explode, but in a hospital!
They may have fired from the cemetery behind.
What?
Where is it exactly? When you enter the general courtyard area?
When you enter the courtyard area, so that you do not continue towards the city, but instead from the right side, that is where the hospital is.
According to a National Security Council official, the current US assessment of Tuesday’s tragic blast at a hospital in Gaza is that Israel was “not responsible.”
The explosion sparked a strong reaction, with major protests in Jordan, Lebanon, and elsewhere in the hours leading up to President Biden’s visit to the area. Earlier Wednesday, Biden stated that it appeared the “other team,” rather than Israel, was to blame.
“While we continue to collect information, our current assessment, based on analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts and open source information, is that Israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday,” said Adrienne Watson, a spokeswoman for the NSC.
That statement came many hours after Biden’s arrival in Israel, when he said, ““Based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you. But there’s a lot of people out there, not sure,”” Biden remarked.
Later, Biden explained that he was speaking based on “the data I was shown by my Defense Department.”
An Israeli television station has published additional footage that appears to show missiles fired over a Gaza hospital only moments before an explosion that killed hundreds last night.
It comes after Israel’s military released footage and analysis claiming they were not responsible for Tuesday’s horrific bomb at Al-Ahli Hospital.
A streaming video clip published by Israel’s Channel 12 News shows a salvo of rockets being launched before explosions rattle an area alleged to be the medical center.
The time-stamped video, according to the channel, was ‘evidence’ that a rocket fired in Palestine malfunctioned mid-air before landing and bursting into flames.
Yonit Levy, the anchor of the news, said: “This is proof of Israel’s claims that it was actually missiles from the Gaza Strip shot in the direction of the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.”
