The November 5th election has rocked the political scene, bringing some big news for conservatives: George Soros’s empire might be falling apart. Across the country, voters rejected Soros-backed, toys-in-the-attic-bat-guano-radical-progressive district attorney candidates, and it’s a huge shift in the political landscape. But here’s the thing—these losses could just be the tip of the iceberg for Soros. His dreams of a “New World Order?” Yeah, those seem to be fading fast as well.
This election? It’s being called a massive watershed moment, and the impact goes way beyond just people being unhappy with the current Democratic leadership. Even within the Democratic Party, there’s pushback against its radical side. And Soros, more than anyone else, came out as the big loser here. A whole lineup of Soros-funded DAs went down in flames, even in places that have voted Democratic forever.
Take Los Angeles, for example. Independent candidate Nathan Hochman handed a major defeat to the destructive George Gascon, a Soros-supported DA, beating him by a whopping 23 points. Over in San Francisco, DA Brooke Jenkins crushed her Soros-backed opponent, too, showing that people are ready for a return to tougher crime policies. This comes right after San Francisco voters recalled yet another Soros-funded DA, Chesa Boudin, known for his soft-on-crime stance. Voters are clearly done with leniency—they want law and order.
And it didn’t stop there. California voters backed Proposition 36, which brings back harsher penalties for drug offenses and theft. Support for this measure crossed party lines as people vented their frustration with the “let it slide” attitude that Soros’s candidates have been pushing. Over 30 Soros-backed DAs have resigned in the past two years alone, and in about 20 of those cases, conservative, tough-on-crime prosecutors have taken their places. Recently, Nathan Vasquez’s win in Portland, Oregon, knocking out another Soros-aligned DA, added even more fuel to this fire.
This series of losses is just one part of Soros’s crumbling influence. His strategy to prop up lawless criminal-mollycoddling prosecutors hasn’t worked out the way he’d hoped—communities across the country are prioritizing safety and cracking down on crime. Meanwhile, Soros’s influence isn’t just shrinking in the US; it’s contracting globally. His Open Society Foundations recently announced a major cutback in Europe, shifting their focus and cash elsewhere. This pullback came right after Soros handed the reins to his son, Alex, and involved layoffs affecting nearly half the foundation’s global workforce.
The Open Society Foundations tried to frame these cuts as a “reorganization to address worldwide threats to free societies,” but plenty of people see it as Soros losing his grip. With political losses piling up, public backlash growing, and funding shrinking, Soros’s “New World Order” dream is looking pretty shaky.

The breakdown of his empire is a clear rejection of his policies, and it seems like the world is finally saying, “Thanks, but no thanks” to his vision for a reshaped global order. Indeed, November 5th may just go down as the day the Soros era started to crumble, one defeated DA at a time.

Junior was supposed to take over his father’s empire, but he may find out that the empire is no more. As the sun sets on the empire, remember this: Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it fell overnight.
