The American Postal Workers Union (APWU) is slamming President Joe Biden’s proposed federal vaccine mandate. The APWU has released a statement that was curt and to the point, “It is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations.”
Finally, there is one organization that has the guts to say that the emperor has no clothes.
Americans are a free people, free to decide if they want to get vaccinated or not. There are political implications behind the push for vaccinations. To force American citizens to take a vaccine that is still experimental means that the government is forcing people to become lab rats.
The APWU added, “Various media outlets have reported that the White House is considering mandatory COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment for federal employees.”
“Maintaining the health and safety of our members is of paramount importance,” the statement continued. “While the APWU leadership continues to encourage postal workers to get vaccinated voluntarily, it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent.”
“Issues related to vaccinations and testing for COVID-19 in the workplace must be negotiated with the APWU,” the statement added. “At this time the APWU opposes the mandating of COVID-19 vaccinations in relation to U.S. postal workers.”

Social and economic justice is Marxism for we want the outcome for everyone to be the same even if it means harming some people who do better.
Back in February of this year the news site Stat did a story on a federal law that exists that “prohibits employers and others from requiring vaccination with a Covid-19 vaccine distributed under an EUA” (Emergency Use Authorization). How come CNN never mentioned it?
“While organizations are certainly free to encourage their employees, students, and other members to be vaccinated, federal law provides that, at least until the vaccine is licensed, individuals must have the option to accept or decline to be vaccinated,” Aaron Siri wrote for Stat.
National Law Review published a piece this month saying that legal complaints are right now being made against employer mandates for COVID-19 vaccinations.
“The legal challenges have centered, in large part, on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ability to issue ’emergency use authorization’ (EUA) for medical products in certain emergency circumstances,” National Law Review noted. “This was the procedure used for approval of the COVID-19 vaccines by the FDA of three vaccines in December 2020. In each of these authorizations, the FDA imposed the ‘option to accept or refuse’ condition by requiring the distribution to potential vaccine recipients of a fact sheet that states (among other items): ‘It is your choice to receive or not receive [the vaccine]. Should you decide not to receive it, it will not change your standard medical care’.”
The Office of Legal Counsel to the President recently delivered a memorandum opinion on the “option to accept or refuse” language under the EUA. The memo delivered a biased, non-binding legal argument that favors mandates for vaccines by schools, employers and other entities.
Mark my words, the Biden administration will use that opinion memo to force American citizens to have medicine injected into their bodies even if they don’t want it. That’s why they had them write it. The day that begins there is no longer any semblance of an argument that we are a free nation of free people.
The postal union represents over 220,000 postal employees and retirees. On top of that they represent almost 2,000 private-sector mail workers. State and local union affiliates are self-ruling groups that rely on the national union to represent them during contract negotiations.
