On Wednesday’s episode of CNN‘s “The Source,” former Attorney General Bill Barr stated that, while he wasn’t sure at first, he now believes that 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump knew he lost the 2020 election.
I didn’t know that Bill Barr has the superhuman ability to read minds.
“At first, I wasn’t sure, but I have come to believe that he knew well that he had lost the election, and — now, what I think’s important is, the government has assumed the burden of proving that,” Barr said. “The government, in their indictment, takes the position that he had actual knowledge that he had lost the election and the election wasn’t stolen through fraud. And they’re going to have to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt.”
“Number one, comments from people like Bannon and Stone before the election saying that he was going to claim it was stolen if he was falling behind on election night and that that was the plan of action,” he continued. “I find those statements very troubling. And then you see that he does that on election night, and then the evidence that has come out since that, the press reports and the indictment and his lack of curiosity as to what the actual facts were. Just me — that’s my personal opinion. And we’ll see if the government can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.”
It doesn’t matter what they said. Neither Steve Bannon nor Roger Stone was in government during the election and Barr knows better than to make it appear that they were creating and implementing the Trump campaign strategy for 2020. He should be ashamed of himself for going to that level of deception.
Mr. Barr forgets that throughout 2020 Trump was continually pointing out that the Democrats were mailing out millions of mail-in ballots to millions of Americans who never asked for them by weaponizing the COVID-19 pandemic. The 45th president kept saying throughout the election cycle that what they were doing was leaving many areas of the election vulnerable to fraud. He was clearly and rightfully concerned the whole election cycle.

He continually said, “We don’t know who is getting many of these ballots.”
Another problem with Barr’s assessment is that Trump wasn’t falling behind on Election Night. He was far ahead when all the key battleground states suddenly and simultaneously said they would stop counting ballots, go home, and return in the morning to resume counting ballots. Republican observers believed that lie and went home. Meanwhile, Democrats stayed and “counted” ballots throughout the night.
Trump was far ahead, and then after the deception, when there was supposed to be no counting ballots overnight, morning arrives and Joe Biden is magically ahead. I call bullschtein.
What they are doing is the same thing they did all along. The media and establishment types like Barr want to get Trump out of the way because he doesn’t play the DC game the way they do. Trump cares about America and the American people first and foremost, and that can’t stand. They create a narrative and then all of them come out of the woodwork to pile onto that narrative. Here, we have Bill Barr piling on the narrative that Trump knew he legitimately lost the 2020 election and tried to overturn it. Their plan has always been to get enough people to say it often enough that it permeates the American psyche and becomes true.
For example, they did this with the Hunter Biden laptop that was revealed right before the election. Joe Biden and the Democrats got 54 former intelligence officials to sign a letter stating that the information on the laptop was Russian disinformation. It didn’t matter that none of them had seen what was on the laptop. They were betting on the significance of 54 former intelligence officials making the statement.
Meanwhile, all the evidence shows that Trump very much believed he won, and the election was stolen from him, and I will go out on a limb and say that if you believe the Bill Barrs of the world, then you have not been paying attention because Trump’s actions and words were clear as a cloudless sunny day.
Bill Barr should be ashamed of himself for allowing CNN to use him like the tool he has become.
