Former President Donald Trump [Donaldus Magnus] met with Kyle Rittenhouse after the 18-year-old was found Not Guilty of killing two men and wounding a third with a Smith and Wesson M&P 15 rifle during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 25, 2020.
“He’s a really good young guy, just left Mar-a-Lago a little while ago, and he should never have been put through that,” Trump said Tuesday night in an interview on Sean News on Fox News’s “Hannity.”
“That was prosecutorial misconduct, and it’s happening all over the United States right now with the Democrats.”
The Kenosha jury found Rittenhouse Not Guilty of all five charges that the prosecution should have never brought in the first place. The evidence was overwhelming that it was a clear case of self defense.
The Loony Left went nuts about the acquittal, saying that the verdict rendered was an affirmation of systemic racism in the United States criminal justice system even though everyone involved was white.
Trump disagreed with their criticisms.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELRittenhouse “should not have had to suffer through a trial for that,” Trump told Hannity. “He was going to be dead if he didn’t pull that trigger, that guy that put the gun to his head in one-quarter of a second he was going to pull the trigger. Kyle would have been dead.”
The former president also blasted the news media’s trial coverage for misinformation, including the falsehood that Rittenhouse brought the rifle across state lines.
“They are the enemy of the people and we could have a country that would be able to heal and get together, except the media foments it,” Trump said.
He’s absolutely right. Every riot over the last decade was fomented by Fake News activists who claim to be journalists spreading a leftist narrative to stir up trouble, either for ratings or for their politicial activism.
“They’re so corrupt. The fake news, but it’s really the corrupt news. It’s corrupt what they do. I had to devote a lot of time to fake investigations.”
The mainstream news media hyped up the phony Russian collusion hoax, many of them knowing from the very beginning that there was nothing to it.
“People have gotten wise to it … and it’s just a shame.”
In fact, it was so bad that MSNBC stalked jurors while being driven during the trial that the presiding judge on Thursday banned the conspiracy theory network from the courthouse for the remainder of the trial after they got caught following the bus that drove the jury the night prior.
Rittenhouse went to Kenosha, Wisconsin to help people in the community who were hurt by rioters and to protect innocent businesses from being burned to the ground and three separate men attacked him for his efforts and when he thought they were going to kill him he shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wounded Gaige Grosskreutz. All three men attacked Rittenhouse before he fired on them.
Grosskreutz testified during the trial and admitted that Rittenhouse did not even aim his rifle at him until he himself pulled his pistol and aimed it at Rittenhouse’s head.
Trump on Friday released a statement following the announcement of the jury’s verdict.
“Congratulations to Kyle Rittenhouse for being found INNOCENT of all charges. It’s called being found NOT GUILTY—And by the way, if that’s not self defense, nothing is!”
Trump also criticized the deadly Christmas parade attack in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday by a “bad cookie,” where 6 people were killed and 62 others were injured when Darrell Brooks drove a red SUV into the parade in what seemed to be intentional according to video footage of the attack. Brooks was charged with 5 counts of intentional homicide.
